NSW Ambulance Paramedic Shield Presentation

1. Brief

NSW Ambulance hired Impact AV to do the audio visuals for their Paramedic Shield Presentation. This presentation is to officially induct a new (surge) class of 126 successful paramedic recruits after weeks of intensive NSW Ambulance education and training, finalised with face-to-face training taking place in lockdown during COVID-19. This presentation was held outdoors at Cathy Freeman Park, corner of Grand Parade and Showground Road, at Sydney Olympic Park.

2. Approach

After welcome to country the Wangal people of the Eora Nation, the NSW Ambulance Chief Executive, Executive Director, Clinical Systems and Student representative delivered speeches. Then there was plaque presentations and photo opportunities. A media conference was held to acknowledge the recruits and deliver timely information on Covid-19 and other health related issues. And finally the dignitaries did a meet and greet with paramedic recruits.

3. Result

The event successfully acknowledged and inducted these 126 new recruits into the NSW Ambulance service. Impact AV provided audio for the amplification of the speeches and presentations, and provided the audio/ video for the media conference, and finally assisted with the safe conduction of this outdoor event.
