Carly and Andy’s Floral Extravaganza

The Brief

Carly and Andy, our bride and groom, along with Jason from Jason James Design approached Impact AV Australia with an idea that has never been done before at the WatervieW in Bicentennial Park venue. Impact AV Australia was to transform the beautiful venue into a brightly lit floral oasis with a spectacular black and gold theme.

The Approach

We collaborated with Event’s By Nadia to rig the perfect structure to safely hold all ten large floral hanging boxes from the ceiling.  Safely suspended from the ceiling, Impact AV Australia rigged an entire wall and framed the dance floor with foliage and orchid flowers!! But there was only one problem… the lighting!

As there was a lot of foliage within the entire venue Impact AV Australia needed to make sure there was adequate lighting, not only to light the guests tables, but also highlight the large floral table pieces, the two beautiful 10 metre golden kings tables, the jaw dropping 12 metre gold mirrored bridal table and flower wall.  That was a lot of extra lighting!

With an amazing team and a lot of dedication Impact AV Australia started creating this masterpiece from Friday night right till late Saturday afternoon.  Impact AV Australia installed more than 20 extra lights within the already light adored venue then created eight customised lighting looks to highlight every moment within Carly and Andy’s reception.

The Results

The results were MAGNIFICENT! The Bride and Groom were especially delighted with how spectacular everything looked.

And the masterful Jason James, the Creative Director and Event Designer was especially pleased with all the help Impact AV Australia provided throughout the whole planning process.

“Thank you again to you and the whole team for doing an AMAZING job on Saturday. You have all been an absolute pleasure to work with and you really helped in bringing Carly and Andy’s day to life.” – Jason,
