The NRL hosted the Grand Final Lunch at The Pavilion, Dockside Darling Harbour on Thursday 2 October 2014.

NRL Event

During this event the teams of the Canterbury Bulldogs and the South Sydney Rabbitohs came together prior to the head to head epic battle of the Telstra Premiership Grand Final. Warren Smith was MC, Bonnie Anderson sang, and a host of Rugby League legends attended to celebrate the highlights of the 2014 NRL season.

Audio Visual Set Up

Impact AV provided the state of the art high resolution 2.5mm pitch LED screens, lighting, audio and technical support to the Spark Production team. Impact’s operational staff facilitated the bump in and set up of several external AV and staging companies. An external provider built a large and elaborate set, which held both teams either side of a central stage and a floating circular stage. Another external provider erected two lower resolution screens at either end of the Pavilion and a single low resolution LED screen set between the two opposing teams. Also behind the teams, built into the set, were a series of 75” screens which displayed each team’s badge. The broadcast audio was supplied by JPJ, and was mixed for the outside broadcast of Fox Sports. Finally a host of cameras and journalists from many media organizations plugged into Impact AV’s media splitter.

Video Conference

Impact AV supplied and set up audio and lights for the press conference held in the Star Room. Video link to press conference:
